At Bianchi we saw our 120th anniversary as an chance to optimize our considerable knowledge on biomechanics and ergonomics, to further refine geometries already used on the road range into the MTB range and further increase performance levels.
The Sloping technology, a breakthrough devised by Bianchi Research and Development, has a 4° to 5° inclination of the chainstays against the seat tube, thereby allowing for a reduction of the tube and seat stay dimensions. The result is a lighter and more rigid frame which on the road expresses in an overall stability and a better reactivity to quick accelerations.
Evolution in the MTB field allowed Bianchi to produce 4 standard measures for our Front Suspension frames and of 3 standard measures for our Full Suspension frames. All of them feature compact rear stays and cc geometry with 71° head angle and 73° seat angle.
Thanks to the contribution of Aliverti Team and its female athletes, the sloping geometries are generating impressive results for women riders, thanks to the White Lady frame, manufactured according to women's anthropometric parameters.
